Being faithful to grow in our own personal relationship with the Lord is a key to His working through our lives to help others. Teens have the opportunity to participate in a structured, individual program. This involves completing monthly projects to encourage personal growth as well as the opportunity to see the Lord work through them to reach out to help others.

A personal, growing relationship with the Lord is the basis for the other aspects of our lives. In Proverbs 4:23, God commands us to “Keep thy heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life.”Encouragement is given to grow in one’s personal relationship with the Lord through a regular at home personal Bible study/ prayer time. An outgrowth of this is the opportunity to then share with others what God has taught us.  We are reminded in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 that God is the “God of all comfort” and that He “comforteth us in ALL our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them with are in ANY trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.” (2 Corinthians 1:3-4).
